My Story
About me and my Scentsy story. Where it all began …
I was first introduced to Scentsy back in 2013. A friend of mine invited me to a Scentsy party, I soon fell in love with the brand and all it’s wonderful products. I was a massive candle lover, and after experiencing a house fire when I was at university, I was so pleased to find a safer alternative to fragrance my home. From then me and my friends would take turns to host parties, experience Scentsy in the best kind of way as party hosts’, while gaining some fabulous discounts too.
In October 2016, my sponsor Jo held a party for one of my friends. While I was doing some Christmas shopping and placing a rather large order, Jo asked me if would I like to join ….? Simple as that. I had done direct sales before and really enjoyed the party side of it, so I thought to myself why not, what have I got to lose. That’s when I took the plunge and joined Scentsy and became a consultant. Best thing I ever did!!!!
I initially joined to earn some extra cash over the holidays and to host regular parties for me and friends. As the years have gone on my goals have grown. I currently work full time during the day, so my evenings and weekends become my Scentsy time, which I love. My dream is for Scentsy to be my full-time job one day. I am very passionate in sharing my love of Scentsy with everyone. I have a fantastic team and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to share all we do with each other. I can’t wait to share the opportunity with many of you too.
Scentsy gives us the opportunity to travel, meet and make lifetime friends, all while sharing the love of our own business. Consultant incentive trips are available to all, trips to Rome, Mexico and America are just a few of them. I earned my first incentive trip last year, an ALL EXPENSES paid trip to Disney Land Paris, which was later upgraded to Disneyland Florida. Unfortunately, due to Covid travel restriction, I was unable to go. Scentsy still rewarded us for earning this incentive though, we had a very nice cash pay out, which has gone into my holiday fund for when we can travel again. I have met some wonderful ladies on my journey so far, heard many inspirational incredible stories and made some amazing friends. If travelling and making new friends is your thing, Scentsy is for you.
In July 2018, I went to America with my Scentsy Family. We went to experience the magic from where it all began, not forgetting Scentsy treated us to exclusive passes to Disneyland in Anaheim. I had the most incredible time in the States and to add to all the excitement, Scentsy announced a NEW partnership with Disney while we were there!!! In August 2019, I went to Scentsy Family Reunion in Amsterdam and that was amazing. 2020 and 2021 Reunions became virtual due to the pandemic; however, this did not stop our Scentsy Spirit and the fun we had experiencing our first ever global virtual Scentsy Family Reunion. Though I cannot wait to meet all my Scentsy friends and family in person again, next year our reunion trip is in London. Why not join us?
Your Business . . . As a consultant you can run your business how you want. Since the pandemic, we have had to rely more on social media and online platforms. Though you can still get that fragrance into the hands of others, many consultants will tell you “It’s the scent that sells.” So get those wax samples into people’s hands and most of your job is done, easy right? Home parties are extremely fun and likely to be your most successful parties, we are slowly getting there to be able to do these again. However, you can also host online parties, catalogue parties, borrow bag parties, and all these parties still allow your customers to see and smell the product in person. Once you start building relationships with your customers, you’ll be surprised how many new friends you’ll make along the way. I have made some wonderful friends through Scentsy and am so grateful for that. When it comes to how you work your business, it’s your business, you are your own boss, it’s up to you. You can work your business every day, few days a week, on weekends, whenever suits you. The Scentsy life is designed to fit into anyone’s life, and its up to you how you make it work. You will get back what you put in and the rewards are endless.

I will support you from the get-go as will our amazing network and community of consultants. Host a party . . . Party hosts get some fabulous regards, half price a free shopping. It’s another amazing way to experience Scentsy. Get your friends and family over for an evening, see and sample the products in real life. Not forgetting it is always a fun night, we play games, and you get to have a catch up with your friends. Best thing for me is I get to meet new people, and many of my customers are now very good friends of mine, kids and animals too :)
